The 2017 Festival will return to the beautiful campus of Slippery Rock University! Enrollment is open to high-school, college, pre-professional, and professional brass musicians regardless of proficiency or performance level.
Dormitory housing plans are available for those participants joining us from far away. Housing plans will include a resident meal plan as outlined in the enclosed materials. For those interested, hotel accommodations are conveniently close by; however, personal hotel arrangements must be coordinated by the participant.
Tuition and Logistics
TUITION: Roger Bobo Festival of Brass takes great pride in offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to aspiring musicians at an affordable price!
Residents: Camp tuition is $525.00 for resident participants. Additionally, a $25 key deposit is due at dorm check-in (to be refunded at camp checkout)
Commuters: Camp tuition is $410.00 for commuting participants. Meals may be purchased independently.

Festival At A Glance...
Participants for the 2017 Festival of Brass will be led daily through Roger's warm-up routine (led by Roger himself), and participate in chamber ensembles, guest artist recitals, special topics classes, and a mass ensemble conducted by Roger Bobo. In addition to this, students will have the opportunity to perform in daily masterclasses, and work with Festival Staff including Dr. Richard Perry (University of Southern Mississippi), Dr. Tom Lukowicz (Wright State University and Canton Symphony Orchestra), Dr. Jonathan Helmick (Slippery Rock University), and Travis Scott (University of Windsor and DMA Candidate at Michigan State University).
The Festival will conclude with a gala concert featuring our chamber ensembles and mass ensemble. Sign up now!
